GANDERBAL, JUNE 24: District Judiciary Ganderbal today held a condolence meeting at the District Court Complex, Ganderbal, under the leadership of Abdul Nasir, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Ganderbal, to express grief over the demise of Smt. Shakti Devi, beloved mother of Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Chief Justice (Acting), High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The meeting was attended by all Judicial Officers of the district, who joined in offering prayers and condolences to the bereaved family. The participants remembered the departed soul with reverence and acknowledged the profound loss suffered by the family.
Speaking on the occasion, the officers conveyed their deepest sympathies and prayed that Almighty grants the departed soul the highest place in heaven and bestows strength upon the family to endure this difficult period with patience and fortitude.
To honour the memory of the departed soul a two-minute silence was observed. The gathering reaffirmed its solidarity with Justice Sanjeev Kumar and his family during this time of bereavement.
The meeting concluded with a collective prayer for eternal peace to the departed soul.
