RAMBAN, AUGUST 3: As part of the 100-day calendar activities, MD Mission Shakti, Harvinder Kour organised community sensitization session on Sex Ratio at Birth in Kunfer Panchayat, Chanderkote. The session was organized by OSC Nodal Officer, Rahul Gupta.
This initiative, under the Department of Social Welfare, Ramban, aims to raise awareness about the critical issue of sex ratio and promote gender equality. The event saw active participation from local women and children, emphasizing the community’s role in addressing gender biases.
Participants were informed about the importance of maintaining a balanced sex ratio and the adverse effects of gender discrimination. The session highlighted the collective responsibility of the community in fostering a more equitable society.
The Department of Social Welfare continues to engage in such awareness drives to ensure the success of Mission Shakti’s objectives.
