DC Reasi reviews progress of mission YUVA; 121 cases approved for financial support

REASI, MARCH 23: In a continued effort to promote youth empowerment and self-employment, the District Administration Reasi today reviewed the progress of Mission YUVA in the district at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Kumar Abhishek.

The District Level Implementation Committee was convened to examine and sanction applications received through the Skill and Business Development Unit. After detailed scrutiny, the committee approved 121 cases for financial assistance and institutional support aimed at fostering self-employment and entrepreneurship among local youth.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed ongoing training batches in the district and directed the concerned officers to commence the next batch at the earliest. He also instructed officials to track beneficiaries who have received training under the sanctioned cases, ensuring effective implementation and measurable outcomes of the programme.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Assistant Director Employment, representatives from various banks, the District Industries Centre and other concerned officials.
