REASI, NOVEMBER 14: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan today said that the District administration has finalized arrangements for the celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas set on November 15, 2024, besides the IEC campaign from November 15 to November 26 under the aegis of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan(DAJGUA).
Addressing a press conference here today, he informed that the main event will feature an array of activities including traditional dance performances, skits, and awareness programme, followed by a massive IEC campaign aimed at betterment of tribal people and preservation of their culture and traditions.
He said the district administration hopes that the event will be marked by enthusiastic participation of tribal people. ADDC Sukhdev Samyal, PO ICDS Mohammad Anwar Banday, CPO Narinder Kumar and others were also present.
