Farooq, Omar conveyed condolences

Jammu February 26th: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Mr Omar Abdullah expressed grief over the passing away of Mrs Shaheena Begum wife of Abdul Qayoom Baghwan District President Doda Rural (Bhaderwah) JKNC and Abdul Aziz Pacho District Vice President Ramban father- in- law of Mrs Gulshan Parveen DDC Khari and conveyed condolences to the bereaved families.

In their messages, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Mr Omar Abdullah prayed for peace to the departed souls and expressed solidarity with other members of the families.

In the condolence message, General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammed Sagar, Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra Additional General Secretaries, Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu Province, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Provincial Secretary, Khalid Najeev Suharwardhy former minister and Vice President Jammu Province, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo former minister and Zonal President Chenab Valley, Qazi Jalal Ud Din Ex-MLA,  Dr. Chaman Lal Bhagat Ex-MLA, Mehboob Iqbal Senior leader, Sajjad Shaheen District President Ramban, Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo District President Kishtwar, Zaffarullah Rather District President Doda, Pyare Lal Sharma, Abid Magrey Vice President District Ramban, Arif Mir District Secretary Ramban, Ved Prakash Gupta District Secretary Doda, Abdul Hafiq Butt District Secretary Doda Rural (Bhaderwah) have also expressed grief and prayed for peace to the departed souls.

Jammu February 26th:- National Conference former MLA and State Vice President Women Wing JKNC. Mrs Bimla Luthra addressed a women workers meeting at Village Kothe Slad in R.S Pura. The meeting was organized by Bharti Devi.     While addressing the meeting Mrs Bimla Luthra said that party stands by its politics of truth and remains steadfast on its commitments made with the public.  The party’s agenda has always been in line with peace and progress of Jammu and Kashmir.     Mrs Luthra said the women should get equal rights and opportunities to participate in the democratic institutions and also in other fields as they are second to none. She also urged women to come forward and play their crucial role in the decision making bodies.She said that National Conference is the only party which firmly stands for peace, prosperity and unity of Jammu and Kashmir. She listed out various initiatives taken by National Conference from time to time for the empowerment of women particularly living in far flung areas.     Those who were present in the meeting included:- Pinky Khalsa District President Jammu Urban Women Wing, Joginder Kour, Sabita, Raji, Tilki, Rani and others.
