PM freed people from clutches of dynasts: Dr Varinder Sharma
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegram

JAMMU, Mar 8: Co-convenor, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Professional Cell Dr Varinder Sharma today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only restored the dignity of people of Jammu and Kashmir by abrogating Article 370 but also brought the innocent locals out of the clutches of dynasts who were out there to destroy the erstwhile state for their vested interests. The biggest example of their destroying the institutions was that of J&K bank which the Prime Minister cited in his Kashmir speech as well.

In a statement issued here, Dr Varinder said that sometime back people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the bank account holders were apprehensive of closure of J&K Bank and their money getting lost but ever since Prime Minister appointed new chairman and board of directors besides other technical and financial advisors to set the things right, the Bank remerged stronger and hard-earned money of investors was saved. This could become possible because of the guarantee of Narendra Modi that he has got a special place for J&K in his heart and soul.

The BJP leader said enabling Bank to post a profit of Rs 1700 crore from being on the verge of collapse is a magic which the union government could do only after abrogating Article 370 and having credible and technical sound people on the board of J&K Bank. This, he said establishes that previous management was not bothered about recoveries, was extending loans in most hap hazardous manner and recruiting their blue-eyed relatives and friends which is not the case now.

He appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for describing himself as “Chowkidar” and assuring people that their money is in very safe hands. Dr Varinder Sharma said that despite National Conference (NC) or People’s Democratic Party (PDP) denying dynastic politics, the fact remains that these people were treating J&K as their personal fiefdom and people as their subjects. This was the reason the erstwhile state remained underdeveloped and was being pushed towards anarchy where militancy was gripping people in its clutches.

Not that Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre which is working without any prejudice brought people out of the clutches of dynasts and provided youth of Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu equal opportunities of progress and prosperity. The young boys and girls who narrated before the PM their success stories are example of youngsters writing their own fate in a free and fair atmosphere provided by Narendra Modi. J&K, he informed is on path of progress and this is giving sleepless nights to dynasts.
