BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 14: Government Degree College Sumbal on Thursday organised a comprehensive awareness programme on drug deaddiction under the patronage of Principal Government Degree College Sumbal Dr. Shabeena Iqbal Shawl.
The programme was aimed at educating students about the dangers of substance abuse and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The event, attended by over 500 students and faculty members featured expert talk by Professor Manzoor Ahmed parey and student speakers from the college and personal testimonies from recovering addicts.
Interactive sessions, quizzes, and debates encouraged student participation, while a pledge ceremony solemnly committed attendees to a drug-free lifestyle.
The program successfully raised awareness about drug addiction, its consequences, and available support services, fostering a collective responsibility among students to combat substance abuse in their community.
